ENGINE 56

Engine 56 is a 1995 Pierce capable of seating 8 firefighters.  Engine 56 runs first out of Manoa to half of the Townships building fire responses, bringing with it 2400ft of 5in supply line and 200ft of 3 in supply line.  The Engine also has a 1500 gpm pump and a 750 gallon water tank, which easily supplies the multitude of attack lines available to the crew of this truck.  Like all of the 56 apparatus, Engine 56 carries a full list of structural firefighting equipment such as hand tools, fire extinguishers, smoke ejectors, and ground ladders.  Engine 56 also has an 8 kW onboard generator used to power multiple Quartz Lights on the truck.  Also on board is an AED ...

SQUAD 56

Squad 56 is a 2001 E-One capable to seating 8 firefighters.  The Squad runs first out of Manoa to the majority of fire or accident emergencies within our local, and first out as the Rescue during day time building fire calls.  Squad 56 has a 1500 gpm pump and 750 gallon water tank to supply the hundreds of feet of attack line, but also has a multitude of Hurst Rescue Tools  powered by a large onboard generator.  Running two different duties, this truck does not lack in either task.  Squad 56 carries a full list of structural firefighting equipment along with a Bullard Thermal Imaging Camera, Multi-Gas Detector, and a Blitz Fire Portable Deck Gun.  T...

RESCUE 56

CHIEF'S CAR

  Ford Expedition

The Chief's car is a 2003 4x4 Ford Expedition. It carries 2 SCBA's, 2 complete sets of turnout gear, a full compliment of forcible entry tools, a CO gas detector, an AED, a medical bag, fire extinguishers, and incident command vests. The vehicle can also carry 5 firefighters.  This vehicle was refurbished with new lettering and striping in 2012.

AMBULANCE 56-7

Ambulance 56-7 is a 2005 Ford Horton Ambulance that carries a full complement of BLS equipment, as well as Water Rescue gear, Forcible Entry tools, and 2 complete SCBA's.  In addition to the normal BLS equipment the rig also carries "EpiPen" Auto-Injectors and a CPAP Respiratory Assistance System.

AMBULANCE 56-7A

  GMC-Horton
  2011

Ambulance 56-7A is a 2005 Horton Box riding on a 2011 GMC 4500 Chassis.  It carries a full complement of BLS equipment, as well as Water Rescue gear, Forcible Entry tools, and 2 complete SCBA's.  In addition to the normal BLS equipment the rig also carries "EpiPen" Auto-Injectors and a CPAP Respiratory Assistance System.  This unit was returned to service in Spring of 2011 after a brief re-chassis project.

Utility 56

  GMC 2500 gas heavy duty

Utility 56 is a 2012 GMC crew cab capable of transporting 6 members.  The unit has a Stahl utility body containing some basic equipment such as a married set, extinguishers, and first responder EMS gear.  The primary uses of this unit are transportation of crew members and gear to and from emergency scenes and as a chase car for the ambulance during major snow storms.
