Over the last 24 hours Company 56 has responded to seven incidents and the day is not done yet. Shortly after 11am on 224 crews responded to an automatic fire alarm at Kindred Hospital. Four hours later crews responded to 1226 West Chester Pike the Eagle Court Apartments for a fire alarm which was held to one engine caused by burnt food. Shortly after 7pm crews responded to a CO detector activation on the unit block of Upland Road. Around 630am this morning Engine 56 responded to the Brookline section of the township for an automatic fire alarm. Just a few hours later at 11am Rescue 56 for the RIT was called to assist Lansdowne Fire Company with a working fire on the unit block of Essex Avenue. Rescue 56 crew assisted with ground ladders and stood by for an hour until released by Lansdowne command and the incident was under control.Two additional calls came in simultaneously shortly after 1pm today the first an automatic fire alarm on the 1300 block of Harrington and odor of natural gas at Township Line Road and Drexel Avenue.
