Liberty Mutual Insurance understands fire safety is everyone's responsibility.  That's why they support and celebrate the fire fighting community in any way they can.  This fall, they are helping to teach families about fire safety and provide a means to give back to your Firefighters, your local heroes.
Havertown residents and Firefighters can help Manoa Fire Company win a $10,000 grant, by visiting http://www.befiresmart.com/firefighters/  and taking a brief quiz on home fire safety.  Each completed quiz counts for one point which you can credit to Manoa Fire Company, and the 10 U.S. departments with the most community participation will earn $10,000 grants.
 
Havertown residents can help your Manoa Firefighters by rallying family, friends, and colleagues to go online and participate in the Liberty Mutual BeFireSmart Fire Safety Pledge program. The grant period will stay open until December 21, 2009, and winning departments will be announced in January, 2010.
